THIS WEEK'S MOVE

Stop Chatting.

Start Delegating.

This is where AI starts paying you back.

Hey —

John here.

You know how to use AI. You ask ChatGPT or Claude a question. It answers. You copy something. Change it. Ask another question. Repeat.

That's useful. But you're still doing most of the work.

And if you want AI to eventually help you earn more, it's time for the next level.

Three-minute read.

Reply LEVEL 2 once you've tried this.

The 3 Levels:

Here's the simplest way I can explain where this is going.

Level 01 · Chat

"Help me do this."

You ask. AI answers.

That's where most people start.

Level 02 · Delegate

"Handle this task."

You give AI the outcome, the information, the rules, and what finished looks like.

AI does the work. You review it.

Level 03 · Build

"Make something that does this."

A tool. A calculator. An automation. An app.

Something you own.

Here's the part I don't want you to miss: each level gives you more back for the same hour.

That's where the money starts.

The skill between you and Level 2:

Tuesday we talked about the new AI agents. They're built to do more than answer questions. They take action. Work across tools. Keep going after you leave.

I'm not rushing into those yet. But the skill underneath them? Learn it now.

It's delegation. And you don't need an agent to practice it. Use the AI you already have.

The 5-Part Handoff:

Before you give AI a job, give it five things.

The 5-Part Handoff

1Outcome

What do you want finished?

2 Context

What does AI need to understand?

3 Inputs

What information or files should it use?

4 Rules

What should it do, and not do?

5 Done

What does finished actually look like?

200+ Proven Ways to Make Money With AI in 2026

The next wave of millionaires will be people who figured out how to make AI work for them.

The window to get ahead is still open. But not for long.

Here are 200+ proven ways to make money with AI in 2026.

Sign up for Superhuman AI, the free daily newsletter read by 1M+ professionals, and get instant access to all 200+ ways to profit from AI this year.

That's the difference between "Give me ideas" and "Here's the job. Bring it back finished."

Here's what that looks like:

Say you're thinking about creating a small digital product.

Level 1 — Chat

❝

Give me ten digital-product ideas.

You get ten ideas. And no product.

Now delegate the job.

Level 2 — Delegate

❝

OUTCOME: Find one small digital product worth testing.

CONTEXT: I want something I can build from home in under six hours using knowledge I already have.

INPUTS: Interview me about my work, skills, hobbies, problems I've solved, and things people ask me for help with.

RULES: Under fifty dollars to test. No inventory. No paid ads. Reject generic ideas someone could create with one simple AI prompt.

DONE: Give me the strongest idea, who it's for, the problem it solves, the smallest version I could test, and the first three actions. Explain why you rejected the other ideas.

See the difference? You're not asking AI to brainstorm. You're handing it work.

Now follow the money:

This is where people get AI wrong. They ask:

"How can I make money with ChatGPT?"

I'd ask:

"What work can I get finished with AI?"

Research. Spreadsheets. Presentations. Planning. Documents. Customer research. Product drafts. Simple tools.

Every task you learn to hand off gives you one of three things:

What You Get Back

Time → You finish work faster.

Capacity → You can handle more.

Output → You can create things you couldn't before.

Here's what that looks like in real life.

Picture an office manager who hands AI the job of turning a messy procedures binder into a one-page new-hire checklist. Thirty minutes.

Now she has something other small offices would pay for.

That's Level 2 turning into Level 3. That's the bridge from AI to income.

Not another prompt pack. A skill.

Your first Level-2 test:

Don't try to automate your life. Pick one task you're already doing this week.

Give it the 5-Part Handoff. Then time it.

Maybe it normally takes ninety minutes. AI helps you finish in thirty. You just found an hour.

Repeat that task next week. And the week after.

One hour a week is roughly fifty hours a year.

So the real question becomes:

What could you build with fifty hours you didn't have before?

The Cashflow Check™

It passed. With one catch.

I ran the 5-Part Handoff through the Check this week.

Your first handoff will probably take longer than doing the task yourself. Writing the rules and the definition of done takes real thought.

The payoff shows up on the second and third run, when you reuse what you wrote.

Most people quit after round one. Don't.

This weekend:

Take one task. Not ten.

Give it the 5-Part Handoff.

Review what comes back.

Fix your instructions.

Run it again.

Don't judge the first result. Judge the third.

The person who can get real work finished with AI has a much better shot at turning AI into income than the person collecting another hundred prompts.

“Don't just ask AI for help. Learn to hand it the work.”

Move to Level 2.

See you next Thursday.

P.S. Later this month I'm testing a 5-day challenge built on exactly this kind of handoff. Reply CHALLENGE if you want one of the first spots.
